Women Owned Brands Host All-Female Lineup from DJ to Cocktail Cart to Food, Flower, and Craft Vendors
District Candle Lab and Fawne, are celebrating their first birthday on Sunday, June 15, at their original Union Market District location, 1325 5th St NE, Suite F. Both women-owned and launched in June 2024, these brands are known for their creative, hands-on experiences such as custom candle-making and charm jewelry creation. Following the success of their DC shop, they expanded with a second location in Mosaic District, Fairfax, VA in May 2025. The birthday celebration also highlights women entrepreneurs with an all-female lineup featuring live music from DJ Les Talusan, craft cocktails by Gena Chersevani's Frizzante cocktail cart, and food from vendors like Jarabe Gourmet Pops and Lei Musubi. Attendees can enjoy a DIY flower bouquet station with Sumaiya Elora, handmade Colombian Wayuu bags from Cristina Archila, and an outdoor charm bar alongside exclusive custom birthday candle scents. General admission is free, with a $15 VIP ticket option for premium gifts and experiences, available online or as walk-ins are also welcome.
