Washington, DC Celebrates Travel Professionals Month with VIP Discounts and Deals
(Washington, DC) – For the fourth year, Destination DC, the destination marketing organization for the nation’s capital, has created a promotion exclusively for Travel Professionals Month. Destination DC has partnered with 14 Washington, DC-area hotels to offer exclusive discounted room rates throughout July and August 2016. Participating attractions, theaters, restaurants, retailers and tour companies will also offer VIP discounts. Participants must register online to unlock exclusive discounts.
“We’re pleased to build on the success of Travel Professionals Month and reward the industry experts who help us promote travel to Washington, DC,” said Elliott Ferguson, president and CEO of Destination DC. “These discounts are an expression of our gratitude but also an opportunity to experience our city’s hotels and attractions firsthand. Whether they’re exploring “Icebergs” at the National Building Museum, dining around Union Market or biking the monuments at night, tourism experts will have a DC Cool experience.”
Travel professionals who register for the program on washington.org will receive a welcome package that includes the list of participating hotels and a DC VIP card. Participants are invited to access discounted hotel accommodations using a unique access code. DC VIP deals can be accessed through washington.org/travel-professionals-month and redeemed by presenting their VIP card at participating outlets. Participating hotels include: American Inn of Bethesda; Arlington Court Suites Hotel; Beacon Hotel and Corporate Quarters; The Capitol Hill Hotel; Days Inn Washington DC/Connecticut Avenue; Embassy Suites at the Chevy Chase Pavilion; The Fairfax Embassy Row; Fairfield Inn & Suites Washington, DC/Downtown; Four Seasons Washington, DC; Hamilton Crowne Plaza; The Henley Park Hotel; Holiday Inn Washington, DC – Central/White House Hotel; Residence Inn Capitol by Marriott; The Willard Intercontinental.
