The DMV is home to a vibrant and diverse Muslim community from a wide range of cultural, ethnic, and linguistic backgrounds. Story District has partnered with MakeSpace Mosque and Center DC to connect with aspiring Muslim storytellers.
Which Way is Mecca? will be a night of true stories the joys and challenges of being Muslim in America through first-person narrative. We have three spots left for our 2024 performance (Date TBD). Co-directed by Yasmin Elhady and Yayha Abhou-Ghazala.
