This Forbes Travel Guide Recommended restaurant is a quintessential French brasserie offering classic French dishes with a contemporary twist
Influenced by the Beaux-Arts architecture of the Willard InterContinental and the French-inspired design of Washington, D.C. by Pierre L'Enfant, Café du Parc opened as a French restaurant in 1997 looking to bring a slice of France to the Nation's Capital.
Located on Pennsylvania Avenue across from Pershing Park, a National Park home to the World War I Memorial, Café du Parc is reminiscent of a Parisian-inspired sidewalk café. Paying homage to traditional French cooking, the restaurant offers diners various culinary options, from coffee and pastries at its coffee shop, Le Café, breakfast, lunch, and dinner inside the main dining room or outside, at the restaurant's Pennsylvania Avenue terrace. The terrace offers unparalleled views of Washington, D.C., including the U.S. Capitol Building, World War I memorial, and the Washington Monument. Seasonal Jazz on the Terrace invites you to celebrate the end of the week.
