Game-Changing Meetings: Hosting Events in DC’s Premier Sports Venues

Add a sports flair to your meeting or event by hosting attendees in one of Washington, DC’s world-class stadiums or arenas.

Hold a session in the home of the 2019 World Series Champions, the Washington Nationals, or a mixer overlooking the field of four-time MLS Cup winner DC United. DC has a team in every major sports league creating a diverse landscape of venues throughout the city. Whether it’s Nationals Park, Audi Field or Capital One Arena, DC’s spaces are versatile and exciting, guaranteed to keep your guests engaged.

Nationals Park

Nationals Park Baseball Game

Nestled in the bustling Navy Yard neighborhood, Nationals Park is one of the largest venues in DC, boasting the ability to accommodate approximately 40 to 40,000 guests. The stadium was the first LEED-certified professional sports stadium in the U.S. and its 55,000 sq. feet of indoor club spaces and conference center are perfect for a business meeting, fundraising gala, convention party or social event.

Host outdoors in ten spaces encompassing 250,000 sq. feet. For non-game days, attendees can access exclusive spaces such as the field, clubhouse and dugouts. Try your hand at batting practice in the Nationals’ cages or compete with the Racing Presidents on the warning track.

Make Nationals Park the anchor of your meeting and use Capitol Riverfront Campus for hotel recommendations and breakout venue suggestions. More information about hosting events is available here

Capital One Arena

Located in the Chinatown and Penn Quarter neighborhood, Capital One Arena is home to the NBA’s Washington Wizards, the NHL’s Washington Capitals and the NCAA’s Georgetown Hoyas' Men’s Basketball Team. In addition to world-class sporting events, the 1.1 million sq.-feet, 20,000-seat arena offers concerts, family shows, trade shows and special events.

The arena has reception space for 100 guests in the Devil’s Backbone Lounge and Caesar’s Sports Book Lounge. For larger groups of around 200, book the Ultra Club or exclusive Players Club. To be immersed in the excitement during game days or concerts, rent a single event suite that holds up to 54 guests and includes complimentary food and beverages.
