Beyond the Studio Workshop: Punch Needle with Tyler Sanville

Visit the MacMillan Education Center at the Smithsonian American Art Museum to learn the basics of punch needle, a craft that has its roots in nineteenth-century rug hooking, from local fiber artist Tyler Sanville. Participants will be led through a guided activity to create a colorful fiberwork inspired by SAAM’s collection. Please note that space is limited for this program, and registration is required. Participants must register by 7 p.m. ET on October 20.
